Suzanne Isaacs has been a member of IFFP since 2014. Suzanne and her husband Lyle have two children Claire (age 9) and Rachel (Age 5) who attend Sunday School at IFFP. Suzanne was raised Catholic in a small town on Long Island. She moved to Maryland to attend the University of Maryland, stayed for graduate school and after a stint working in Budapest she settled in Maryland. Suzanne is an archivist for the National Archives and promotes civic engagement through the Citizen Archivist program. In this program, people all over the world help to transcribe and tag digitized records in the National Archives Catalog. Prior to joining the IFFP Board, Suzanne served two terms as the President of the Jackson Road Elementary School PTA. In her spare time, Suzanne loves photography, reading, trying out new recipes, and visiting new places. Suzanne and Lyle were married in 2008 by IFFP’s Rev. Julia Jarvis and Rabbi Harold White.
